Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist III at Sutter Health, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various medical conditions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and precise execution of nuclear medicine procedures, while maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Competently perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner.

Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal care.

Requirements and Qualifications:

5 years of recent relevant experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.

General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including experience responding to traumas and hospital emergencies.

Capable of performing routine nuclear medicine examinations and possessing a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.

Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
