Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
- Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures, monitor inventory of supplies, and maintain room cleanliness.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT-CT certification preferred.
- CT experience preferred.
