Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist: Deliver the prescribed course of radiation treatment to patients from initial contact through completion of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and rooms for treatment
  • Administer radiation therapy according to treatment plans
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's Degree in an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT)
  • An Indiana License as a Radiation Therapist, obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Physical Demands

This role requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands to handle objects. You will also frequently sit and talk or hear, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting and moving up to 10lbs is regularly required, up to 25lbs frequently, and up to 50lbs occasionally.
