Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Support Specialist to join our team at Millennium Physician Group. As a Charge Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and correcting professional billing charges on hold using billing protocols, carrier claim rules, and advising. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and correct professional billing charges on hold
  • Apply billing protocols and carrier claim rules to ensure accurate billing
  • Communicate with providers and/or their representatives to ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Work in the Practice Management System to review claims for corrections or release
  • Trend claim hold errors for management as requested
Requirements
  • High School diploma and one year of experience in a healthcare-related field
  • Physician billing or medical practice experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
  • Athena knowledge preferred but not required
