Cancer Registry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Registry Operations Manager to join our team at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our cancer registry, ensuring compliance with Commission on Cancer Program Standards and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage core registry functions, including abstracting and follow-up, to maintain accurate and up-to-date cancer data.
  • Coordinate Cancer committee minutes and maintain the Cancer Conference Grid.
  • Attend Cancer Committee and subcommittees as needed to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement operational efficiencies to improve productivity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, hospital departments, and outside agencies to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cancer registry operations.
  • Knowledge of Commission on Cancer Program Standards and state regulations.
  • Experience with Metriq Cancer Registry Software System and proficiency in cancer data report generation and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and serve as a liaison to medical staff, hospital departments, and outside agencies.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
