Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold ethical standards and demonstrate respect, reliability, and empathy in all interactions.
  • Adhere to the established cleaning schedule set by the Housekeeping Director.
  • Thoroughly clean designated areas, including furnishings and fixtures.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in bathrooms.
  • Perform vacuuming in rooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Disinfect surfaces, including floors and walls; ensure windows and furniture are cleaned.
  • Restock bathroom supplies and toiletries for residents.
  • Dust and sanitize high-touch areas such as baseboards and entrances.
  • Communicate supply and equipment needs to the Housekeeping Director.
  • Change bed linens and ensure laundry is completed for residents' clothing.
  • Observe residents and report any changes in their care needs to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within a senior living environment is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
