As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with remote processing of orders through our pharmacy channel.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Packaging and shipping verified products
  • Managing accurate inventories
  • Assisting with processing mail from USPS
  • Conferencing with customers by telephone, email, or SMS messaging to provide information about products or services, cancel accounts, or upgrade accounts
  • Assisting with processing of pharmacy sales orders, process payments, refunds, or exchanges
  • Informing customers of deals and promotions, answer questions about warranties and terms of sale
  • Selling products and services and soliciting sales of new or additional products or services
  • Call insurances to obtain patient PBM coverage information
  • Average data entry into system
  • Document collection and storage
  • Contact doctor offices to collect and request prescriptions, authorizations, clinical notes, and lab results
  • Run pharmacy test claims and communicate copays to the patient
  • Answer phones and provide customer service
  • Keep workspace and common pharmacy areas clean
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required
  • Three (3) years of prior Pharmacy experience is required
