Overview

Our ICU is a 158-bed facility with a team of 1120 employees, 283 medical staff, and 29 Emergency Department beds. We are proud to be home to the Family Medicine Residency Program, an accredited and nationally recognized program that provides resident physicians with specialty training in primary care family medicine.

Our team has implemented a groundbreaking curriculum addressing the identification, treatment, and assistance of human trafficking victims, and created a one-of-a-kind health clinic for victims, the Human Trafficking Medical Home.

Responsibilities

The ICU Nurse provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge.

Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting themselves professionally.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current California RN license
  • One (1) year of RN experience in critical care in an acute care environment
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • Current California CCRN license
    • Two (2) years of experience in critical care preferred (or equivalent in similar specialty)
    • Telemetry certificate preferred
