Job Title: Braze Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Braze Assembly Technician to join our team at Bodycote, a leading provider of thermal processing services. As a key member of our Braze Department, you will play a critical role in preparing and assembling parts for major manufacturers in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform set-up procedures for brazing customer parts per specifications.
  • Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.
  • Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
Requirements:
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Brazing experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and follow blueprints/specifications.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods in an office/industrial environment.
  • Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
  • Ability to bend, pull, stoop, climb, twist, and reach to perform functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
  • Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Ability to hear in person and via phone.
