Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans.
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date department and hospital records, including therapy information.
  • Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification required.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
