Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiology services and other basic nursing duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions.
  • Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read and report results to providers.
  • Retrieve and archive radiographic reports; create/burn CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
  • Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
  • Complete patient referrals and patient callbacks daily.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed and accredited by ARRT and State, if applicable and required by law.
  • Maintain CEU/CME as applicable for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Urgent care experience.
  • Experience working independently without the support of another radiologic technologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients, taking patient vitals, performing point of care testing, performing employer health services, documenting in electronic medical records and PACS.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and lab specimen collections.
