Position Overview

RNDC is in search of a motivated and collaborative Sales Representative Trainee to become part of our expanding sales operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated territory aimed at driving sales and ensuring seamless service for customers.
  • Engage with the trade and customer base through one-on-one interactions with management, peers, and independently. Identify sales opportunities by showcasing effective selling techniques while focusing on increasing sales volume.
  • Participate in promotional marketing initiatives and customer events that enhance our brand presence and market share.
  • Monitor inventory levels of products on display and in stock, ensuring account service.
  • Analyze and utilize information regarding competitive products, promotional materials, sales strategies, and pricing to drive sales. Collect market and customer insights and provide feedback on emerging buying trends.
  • Document sales and order details, forwarding copies to the appropriate systems or contacts for delivery. Assess sales performance against targets and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Additional responsibilities include occasional deliveries and collections, preparing sales reports, updating the sales or display catalog, planning travel itineraries, and attending sales conferences.
  • Possess and operate a vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient sales activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree; six months or less of outside sales experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • A valid state driver's license is required.
  • Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as specified by the company.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as mandated by state regulations.
