About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing care for patients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to measure radiation, produce images, quantify physiologic responses, and relay images and measurements to the physician for interpretation.
  • Employ practices and techniques to ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials, especially when dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals (both orally and intravenously) as prescribed and authorized by the responsible licensed physician.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.
Requirements
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
