First Quality Enterprises Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products, and we're looking for a skilled Industrial Automation Technician to join our team in Lewistown, PA.

About the Job

This is a 12-hour shift position working a straight night shift from 7pm-7am, with only 15 days of work per month. The typical schedule includes working every other Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and alternating Thursdays and Fridays off.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining controls components and systems for production and associated utility equipment. This includes inspecting electrical circuits, identifying issues, and making repairs or replacements as needed.

Job Requirements
  • A High School Diploma with an Associate's Degree in electronics or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of industrial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with electrical theory and principles of operation, including three-phase, single-phase, and DC power
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard wiring practices
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use meters and oscilloscopes to identify electrical problems
