Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assisting in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner
  • Accurately perform technical radiographic procedures in accordance with established operating procedures and routines
  • Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and caregiver colleagues
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a 2-year AMA-approved school
  • Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
