Job Summary

The Head Softball Coach is responsible for leading the softball program at Coahoma Community College. This includes managing all aspects of the program, including recruitment, practice and game organization, scheduling, budgeting, and facility and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive softball program strategy
  • Recruit and manage a team of assistant coaches
  • Organize and lead practices and games
  • Manage the softball budget and ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with NJCAA, MACCC, and Coahoma Community College policies and procedures
  • Promote the softball program through community events and marketing
  • Foster a growth mindset environment to enhance student athletes' academic progress and athletic performance
