Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

eTek IT Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's infrastructure with a focus on Azure and Kubernetes technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure and services to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and infrastructure needs, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Automation and DevOps: Develop and implement automation for provisioning, deployment, and maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and leverage DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Azure and Kubernetes environments, utilizing tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained for Azure and Kubernetes systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Capacity Planning and Scalability: Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments for Azure and Kubernetes environments, ensuring optimal resource utilization and performance.
- Documentation and Support: Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, and provide technical support and guidance to internal teams in utilizing Azure and Kubernetes resources.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven Experience in System Engineering: Proven experience in system engineering with a focus on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Azure services such as Virtual Networks, App Services, and Azure Container Instances; expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters; and strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols in the context of Azure and Kubernetes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, good communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional team environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
