Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Hemodialysis Unit at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring hemodialysis treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience in a dialysis unit, with acute care experience preferred.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing.
