Job Title: Associate Attorney

Jobot is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our law firm, you will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters, providing legal support and advice to our clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients in a variety of legal matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, presenting arguments and evidence to support their cases.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of legal matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends, applying this knowledge to the benefit of our clients and our firm.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including networking and relationship-building with potential clients.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing in Virginia.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, preferably on personal injury cases.
  • Proven experience in handling a variety of legal matters, with a strong understanding of legal principles and practices.
  • Exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and other relevant technology.
