About the Role:
The position of Nurse Practitioner at SUNY Upstate Medical University requires collaboration with attending physicians to provide comprehensive health assessments and develop a plan of care for patients. Key responsibilities include documenting medical records accurately and consistently, providing patient and family education, and utilizing prescriptive authority in collaboration with the attending physician.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- NYS licensed or registered NP required
- NPI number and Medicare Enrollment required (or eligible within 6 months)
- Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months
- CPR certification through AHA or ARC is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workdays: Monday - Friday daytime hours
