Key Responsibilities: To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following duties:
- Deliver personalized therapy sessions to designated students in various educational settings as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic screenings and observations, to evaluate students' needs and eligibility for services.
- Collaborate with students, families, and educational staff to develop and implement IEPs that address each student's unique communication requirements.
- Continuously monitor student progress, adjusting support strategies and accommodations as necessary.
- Make informed clinical decisions regarding goal setting, service frequency, and recommendations for transitioning students out of therapy.
- Provide guidance and resources to colleagues on issues related to communication disorders.
- Utilize personal transportation to travel between various educational sites as required by the caseload.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution, along with all necessary licensure relevant to the role, is required.
