We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Gadsden, Alabama.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of older adults in our community. As a key member of our team, you will provide psychiatric care to a predominantly geriatric population in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and manage your patient load, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care without the constraints of rigid schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric care to a predominantly geriatric population in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize your expertise to diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions in older adults.
Qualifications
  • Active Alabama license/ DEA
  • Board certification in psychiatry or a minimum of 2 years of direct psych prescription management experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Passion for geriatric mental health
