Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Multi-Purpose Clerk to join our team at Save Mart Supermarkets. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for promoting sales, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the checkstand, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 40 pounds, and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
