TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests. • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
• Perform prep cook tasks, such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Operate grill, fryer, and broiler stations, following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets to ensure food safety and quality.
• Practice safe food handling and storage procedures, and report any potential safety hazards to management.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to operating standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
• Prioritize tasks to meet restaurant and guest needs, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and leaders, communicating effectively and providing excellent customer service.

• Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
