Exeter Health Resources is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on weekends. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality radiographs of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Your duties will include positioning and immobilizing patients, administering contrast media, and entering technical data into the computer. You will also be responsible for evaluating radiographs and computer-generated information for technical quality and implementing radiation safety measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff. If you have an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, are ARRT certified or eligible, and possess a MIRT License and CPR certification, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

• Position and immobilize patients on procedure tables, using supportive devices to obtain precise patient positions and following protocols specified by radiologists.
• Administer contrast media orally and intravenously.
• Enter data such as scan type, slice thickness, and scan time into the computer.
• View images of organs or tissue on video display screens to ensure quality of pictures.
• Evaluate radiographs and computer-generated information for technical quality.
• Demonstrate new techniques, equipment, and procedures to staff.
• Implement and monitor radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff and compliance with government regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• ARRT or eligible.
• MIRT License.
• CPR Certified within 90 days of hire.
