The Jewish Association Serving the Aging is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a nurse on this team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults with mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients with complex needs.
  • Lead interprofessional teams in delivering evidence-based nursing interventions and treatments.
  • Oversee medication management and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on mental health issues and self-management strategies.
  • Participate in crisis response and de-escalation efforts to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Negotiate and coordinate with community agencies to secure necessary resources and services.
  • Document client interactions and treatment progress accurately and efficiently.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure and registration as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Proven experience working with older adults and/or individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
