Client Services Associate

We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Client Services Associate at Turning Point Inc.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our treatment programs and services, while also working closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Providing support and guidance to clients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Assisting the Program Coordinator with the facilitation of appointments and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including shift notes and incident reports.
  • Managing behavior emergencies using protective procedures and de-escalation techniques.
  • Performing administrative duties, such as answering phones, checking emails, maintaining supplies, and assigning client chore lists.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in addiction counseling or related fields is a plus.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and mental health concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Compassion, empathy, and the ability to provide non-judgmental support to clients.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other software programs.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal standards related to client confidentiality and record-keeping.
  • Crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

Preferred qualifications include a valid MN State driver's license, ability to walk up and down stairs, training on CPR and Narcan, and knowledge of culturally specific treatment services.
