Key Responsibilities
  • Lead backend engineering efforts for Doge Labs VR, utilizing technologies such as Typescript, Node, and Postgres.
  • Develop essential API systems that underpin gameplay, core infrastructure, networking, streaming, and artificial intelligence.
  • Work closely with the co-founders to design and implement highly scalable, dependable, and efficient systems.
  • Enhance APIs for minimal latency and optimal bandwidth, catering to millions of users daily.
  • Facilitate backend recruitment and team expansion as responsibilities grow.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Scale: Proven track record of serving millions of users daily across web or mobile platforms, particularly in startups, gaming, or social sectors.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A dedication to ongoing learning, transparency, and teamwork to collectively deliver exceptional products.
  • Product Insight: Background in designing, launching, and refining features to elevate the User Experience.
  • Developer Mindset: Enthusiasm for streamlining development processes for yourself and your team, enhancing the Developer User Experience.
