Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of our Classified Solutions team, you will play a critical role in the management and administration of Linux and Windows systems within a secure environment. This position requires a dedicated professional who can ensure the integrity and functionality of our computer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary Linux/Redhat Systems Administrator for classified government projects.
  • Act as the Windows Systems Administrator, ensuring compliance with all security protocols.
  • Oversee the seamless operation of multi-user computer systems, collaborating with various engineering and IT teams.
  • Evaluate customer requirements to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Enhance system performance through upgrades, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Manage data storage and backup solutions, ensuring robust protection against malware.
  • Create and manage user accounts, adjusting permissions as necessary.
  • Conduct compatibility testing for new software releases.
  • Document technical processes and develop operational procedures.
  • Advise on hardware and software procurement to meet project needs.
  • Engage with vendors to troubleshoot and evaluate products and services.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Information Systems security protocols.
  • Implement new security guidelines and collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability management.
  • Document security audits and maintain compliance records.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements for Level 3:
  • Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years, or Master's degree with 3 years; High School diploma with 9 years of experience may be considered.
Basic Requirements for Level 4:
  • Associate's degree with 11 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 9 years, or Master's degree with 7 years; High School diploma with 13 years of experience may be considered.
Essential Qualifications for Both Levels:
  • Current DoD Secret level security clearance required.
  • Ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance within the first 9 months of employment.
  • IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required on the first day of employment.
  • Proven experience managing Redhat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server OS.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs and security compliance processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with NISPOM, RMF, and related security frameworks.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and experience with Cisco systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows AD, LDAP, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring tools and scripting.
