Telemetry Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or critical care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification in area of specialty, such as CCRN or PCCN.
