About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our care team at Williamsville SNF. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality speech-language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders in residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to address resident needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate records of therapy services provided.
  • Participate in resident care planning and family/resident care plan review meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
  • State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Current, valid CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
