Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fast Pace Health. As an Orthopedic Provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients, working closely with our orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies.
  • Administer non-surgical fracture reductions.
  • Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections.
  • Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound.
  • Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts.
  • Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of outpatient experience as an Orthopedic Provider working alongside an Orthopedic Surgeon (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN).
  • 1+ year of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current License or Certification: License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency.
  • Education Requirements: Masters Degree.
  • License Requirements: Drug Enforcement Administration License.
