Position Overview

Metro Industrial Services is actively seeking to fill the role of a Japanese Interpreter & Translator within an Automotive Manufacturing environment. This position is a direct-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating technical interpretation between Japanese and English for the Production Engineering Department.
  • Offering interpretation services for hourly team members and management as necessary.
  • Providing interpretation during meetings and assisting in welcoming and interpreting for clients or suppliers.
  • Handling all document translations from Japanese to English and vice versa for the Production Engineering Department.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols while performing all duties.
  • Executing other related tasks as assigned by the Production Engineering Manager or other management personnel.
Compensation

Annual Salary: $53,930.00

Work Schedule

Shift: 1st Shift

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese and English is essential.
  • Strong interpretation and translation abilities along with excellent interpersonal skills are required.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
