Description:
Kadean Construction Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project management, site supervision, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Support the coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Help monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures on the job site.
- Assist with the review of construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in site inspections and assist in the documentation of progress and issues.
- Help manage and track inventory of materials and equipment.
- Support administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and scheduling meetings.
- Attend project meetings and take notes to document key decisions and action items.
- Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes on-site.

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in the construction industry and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic understanding of construction practices, tools, and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience or construction-related coursework is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Building Connect) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role is onsite; working from home or remotely is not applicable.
