We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker I to join our team at TEL Staffing. As a Cabinet Maker I, you will be responsible for learning and performing the basic skills and functions related to fabrication of aircraft cabinets and other wood-surfaced subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and develop technical skills and knowledge, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.
- Prepare and make furniture using standard safety and operating procedures, design/engineering drawings, tools, and materials.
- Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off completed work.
- Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, use personal protective equipment, and ensure aircraft interior protection.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body & painting experience in a technical environment or completion of Technical Certificate in cabinet making preferred and/or completion in current year youth apprenticeship program, in area of expertise.
