Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans to optimize routes, reduce empty miles, and improve on-time delivery rates.
  • Logistics Optimization: Analyze and optimize our logistics operations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, drivers, and customers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Operations Management: Manage and control activities related to transportation, including scheduling, routing, and load planning.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), experience in a transportation planning role, and knowledge of asset-based transportation operations.
