CNC Machine Repair and Installation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Repair and Installation Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining complex CNC machines, as well as installing new equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot CNC machine malfunctions
  • Repair and maintain CNC machines, including installation of ball screws, fitting bearings, and performing gearbox rebuilds
  • Understand machine tool geometry and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintenance of electrical systems, including 24V - 480V power distribution and control panels
  • Blueprint reading and geometric tolerance understanding
  • Interpreting CMM reports and implementing quality control measures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC maintenance and repair
  • Extensive knowledge of Siemens Controls, G&L or Cincinnati machines
  • Experience with installing ball screws, fitting bearings, and performing gearbox rebuilds
  • Ability to understand and work with all mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
