Job Description

Our client in Long Island, NY is expanding and seeking a skilled Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee their shop. Technicians should have prior experience repairing and maintaining commercial heavy-duty diesel trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

\u2022 Diagnose and troubleshoot faults codes and/or vehicle malfunctions
\u2022 Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
\u2022 Maintain work orders
\u2022 Conduct D.O.T inspections

Requirements:

\u2022 Strong computer diagnostic experience
\u2022 Possess a full set of tools
\u2022 Basic computer skills
\u2022 Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record

Compensation:

\$ hourly, wage range varies based on experience, certification, and qualifications.

Benefits package available, including Drug, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, and 401k.

Work Schedule:

Days, 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday - Friday).
