Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accounting Specialist will:

  • Exhibit a robust understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized financial records for various entities.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support the budgeting process with relevant financial data and analysis.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
Experience Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including:

  • At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks.
  • 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
  • 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
