Stan Clark Companies, a family of restaurant, retail, and promotional products businesses, is seeking college juniors and seniors to join our Hospitality Management Internship program.

We are looking for students who value learning and teamwork to work in one of our restaurants in Stillwater, Oklahoma. As a Hospitality Management Intern, you will work with our management team to serve our team members and delight our guests while gaining real-world experience and developing your leadership and restaurant management skills.

This paid internship program is designed to supplement your college education and may be eligible for college credit. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop your skills, and make a meaningful contribution to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Delight our guests while working floor shifts as the manager on duty.
  • Manage comps, mystery diners, liquor licenses, and other operational tasks.
  • Schedule and train team members to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Plan and execute catering and events to meet customer needs.
  • Onboard and train support staff and servers to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Expedite orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Complete one or more assigned projects with a presentation to management at the end of the internship.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior student attending a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience as an energetic, outgoing, and fun hospitality personality with the ability to lead others and develop a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and serving others.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain standards and service expectations during peak volume periods.
  • Passionate personal commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a collaborative style.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to 20-25 hours per week for Fall and Spring interns and 40 hours per week for Summer interns.
  • Organized, thorough, detail-oriented, and great follow-through skills.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
