This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry, located in Easton, Maryland and surrounding cities.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Administer medications as instructed by client's healthcare provider.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of client's care, daily activities, and changes in condition.
- Monitor and report any physical or emotional concerns to the client's family and professional caregivers.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social events as needed.
- Complete light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Must be physically and emotionally fit to perform job duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds and bending, twisting, and kneeling.
