Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at KBR in Japan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing emergency/preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, operation, maintenance, repairs, and disposal of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment and systems, including HVAC/R units, power generation equipment, and permanent and temporary structures.
  • Perform corrosion control measures on site structures, including entry control points, force protection points, fences, gates, and signs.
  • Operate and maintain assigned material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and manlifts.
  • Participate in the bimonthly Morale Welfare and Recreational (MWR) schedule.
  • Operate and drive company vehicles to perform mail pick-up and delivery runs.
Requirements
  • US Citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain prior to deployment.
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of arrival.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and components.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
