The Lifeguard is a critical member of the SwimLabs team, responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons and students in and around the pool area.

• Pool Surveillance: Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area, acting immediately and appropriately to secure safety in the event of an emergency.
• Emergency Response: Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Incident Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports.
• Customer Service: Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Compliance: Ensure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance with American Red Cross standards.

• Certifications: Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant, and swimmer.
• Experience: Previous swim instruction experience is desired.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs.

Hours: 3-30 hours per week

Compensation: Up to $18 per hour
