Job Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The nurse will assume responsibility for supervising staff and ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The nurse will also be accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients
- Supervise staff and ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Support the CNO in ensuring competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
- Participate in onboarding process, including background check and pre-employment health screening
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience in a float pool or similar setting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and leadership skills
