Sunrise Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist Emergency Department to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will provide general clinical and pharmacy services in the Emergency Department Satellite Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Actively participate in disease state management in the ED arena by working collaboratively with licensed independent practitioners (LIPs) for patients requiring care for targeted conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, and COPD.
- Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
- Accurately compound and dispense medications efficiently and expeditiously.
- B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification required.
- A minimum of one year of hospital experience in an ICU/ED setting or completion of a PGY-1/PGY-2 in Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine preferred.
