Kitchen Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our team at Bareburger. As a key member of our Back of House team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and recipes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage kitchen equipment, maintenance, and repairs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid food safety certification
