Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for Acute Care Setting

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in an acute care setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare teams to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services, using their expertise to ensure accurate and timely results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with patients, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- To operate and maintain complex medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy of diagnostic results;
- To collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and report imaging findings, providing clear and concise information to aid diagnosis and treatment planning;
- To communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and test results in a clear and compassionate manner;
- To maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant standards and regulations;
- To participate in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date with advances in medical imaging technology and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field;
- Current certification or registration as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality;
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging principles;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation
We estimate that this role will pay approximately $120,000 - $150,000 based on your level of experience and qualifications. We recognize the value of our team members and strive to offer competitive compensation packages.
