ERP Manager Job Description

Roush is seeking an experienced ERP Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, the ERP Manager will be responsible for the strategic and tactical planning of our ERP system, ensuring it meets the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ERP strategies to support business growth and improvement
  • Lead the ERP team in the planning, execution, and maintenance of ERP projects
  • Collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to prioritize and execute major ERP projects
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to the ERP team
  • Ensure the ERP system is properly configured and maintained to meet business needs
  • Develop and manage the ERP budget and resources
  • Lead the recruitment and retention of ERP staff
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10 years' experience in working on ERP systems, preferably Peoplesoft, within a manufacturing and/or services vertical
  • 7 years' experience in leading ERP teams
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
  • Experience and knowledge with Peoplesoft architecture, including PeopleTools, Fluid User Interface, Image Updates, and other key components
  • Solid understanding of key EDI transactions used within the automotive vertical
  • Solid understanding of application and server infrastructure, including database, application, and web servers
  • Expert level knowledge on key manufacturing, financial, and human resource processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and execute tasks successfully
  • Familiarity with Service Desk software and tools
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices
  • Strong project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation, such as NIST, CMMC, and GDPR
  • Knowledge of a project management solution, such as MS Project
  • Knowledge of Visio or similar diagramming software
  • Expert level knowledge on key manufacturing, financial, accounting, and human resources processes
