About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Novice Nurse to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a RN Novice Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a home setting, providing direct care and support. You will work closely with an experienced nurse who will provide guidance, training, and mentorship to help you develop your skills and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or contracted services
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention and progress toward established goals
- Intervene as applicable to changes in condition and report such changes to appropriate supervisor and/or physician
- Document all physician collaboration/coordination of care in the medical record and communicate this information as needed
- Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment including universal precautions
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active RN License
- Current CPR
- PPD or chest X ray if applicable
