Job Summary

Armstrong Receivable Management is seeking a skilled Insurance Auditor to join our team. As a Premium Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for examining the financial records of insurance companies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting premium audits, identifying evidence of fraud, and verifying that insurance companies adhere to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of insurance policies, including Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies.
  • Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
  • Develop a schedule to maximize optimal use of time.
  • Correspond with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to schedule audit appointments.
  • Examine policyholder records, gather data, and determine correct classifications for business activities.
  • Prepare complete audit documents, explain results to insured parties, and communicate findings to the home office.
  • Travel to multiple audit locations daily/weekly.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent, plus two years' experience in premium auditing or a related field.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
  • General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
